About the Dover Eagle Foundation
The Dover Eagle Foundation was founded in 2009 as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Its mission is to support and enhance educational and developmental opportunities for Dover Area School District students. Through a partnership between families, the Dover Area School District, alumni, and the larger Dover community, the goal of this organization is to contribute to a positive future for the young people of Dover.
The Foundation awards classroom grants to educators, provides scholarships to graduating students, and supports other initiatives for the benefit of Dover students.
Student Scholarships
Each school year, the Foundation awards scholarships to Dover Area High School students who are pursuing higher education. This includes trade school, 2-year, or 4-year degree programs. Scholarship applications are available at the High School Guidance Office and on this website.
Classroom Grants
The Foundation supports innovation and learning opportunities for the Dover Area School District through the use of grants and donations. We provide grants to staff to support projects to enrich the education of Dover students.

Community Events
The Dover Eagle Foundation could not exist without the support of the Dover community. Throughout the year, Foundation members attend community events, and we also host fundraisers. We welcome new members to join us and help support our Dover students. Meetings are held the first Wednesday of every month at 6pm in the Administration Building (no meeting in January or July).

DOVER VETERAN'S MEMORIAL
To demonstrate the Dover Area School District's deep appreciation for the brave men and women who serve to protect our country and citizens, the Veterans' Memorial Committee and the Dover Area School District created the Dover Area School District Veteran's Memorial, which was dedicated on November 11, 2024.
