Each school year, the Foundation allocates 10% of its current working balance towards scholarships for Dover High School Seniors who are pursuing education beyond high school, whether that be at a trade school, 2-year, or 4-year degree program. Scholarship applications may be found at the Guidance Office and on this website. Once applications are completed, they should be submitted to the Guidance Office by the date listed on the application. The Foundation's scholarship committee will select the award recipients.
Each semester, the Foundation provides Dover teachers with the opportunity to apply for a grant. These grants are provided to teachers who would like to implement projects or programs that are not covered within the district's budget. It is our hope that teachers will use these grant opportunities to enrich the education and experiences of their students. Once the applications have been received, and the deadline has passed, the grant committee will select the recipients.
The Dover Eagle Foundation could not exist without the support of our Dover community. Throughout the year, we hold various fundraisers and events in an effort to support our mission. It truly takes a community! We are always looking for volunteers to help keep the mission of the Foundation alive. To demonstrate the Dover Area School District's deep appreciation for the brave men and women who serve to protect our country and citizens, a Veterans' Memorial Committee and the Dover Area School District plan to erect a memorial in honor of all Veterans including Dover Alumni and Staff to highlight the remarkable contributions so many have given.
